Overview

Coubee is developed by Veljko Stevic. This Privacy Policy explains what information Coubee collects, why it is collected, and the choices you have when using the app.

Coubee is designed for couples to share moments, messages, interactions, and app experiences. Because the app is personal by nature, you should only share content that you are comfortable making available to the person or people you connect with in Coubee.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Coubee, the app may collect the following categories of information:

• User ID: used to identify your account and keep your app experience connected across sessions.
• Name: used for your profile and to help your partner recognize you in the app.
• Email address: used for account access, support, authentication, and important service messages.
• Photos or videos: collected when you choose to upload, send, or share media through Coubee.
• Product interaction: information about how you use features, screens, buttons, and app flows.
• Coarse location: approximate location information, when enabled or available, used for app functionality, personalization, safety, analytics, or compliance.
• Crash data: diagnostic information that helps identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• Device ID: device or installation identifiers used for security, analytics, diagnostics, and service reliability.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide and improve Coubee, including to create and manage accounts, deliver app features, sync content, personalize the experience, maintain safety and security, provide support, understand feature performance, diagnose technical issues, and comply with legal obligations.

Photos, videos, names, and other shared content may be visible to the person or people you intentionally connect with or share with inside Coubee.

Analytics, Diagnostics, and Service Providers

Coubee may use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, storage, and similar technical services. These providers may process information on Coubee's behalf only as needed to provide their services, protect the app, and support normal operations.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information when needed to operate Coubee, with service providers, with people you choose to interact with in the app, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Coubee, maintain your account, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and maintain backups and security logs. Some deleted information may remain in backups or technical logs for a limited period before being removed through normal retention processes.

Your Choices

You may be able to update account details, adjust device permissions, delete content, or request account deletion through the app or by contacting support. You can also control certain permissions, such as photos and location access, through your device settings.

Children

Coubee is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the information can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No app, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should use care when sharing sensitive personal content.

International Use

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When information is processed internationally, it may be subject to the laws of those countries.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as through the app or by updating the effective date on this page.
